BENTON, Mo. -- James Thomas Morgan, 66, of Benton died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2020, at his home. He was born July 27, 1954, in Quilin, Missouri, to Buddy and Ethlene Hunt Morgan.
He married Cynthia Leigh Taylor on Dec. 11, 1982. She preceded him in death July 29, 2020.
James was a truck driver for Genesis Transportation. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by a son, Chris (Tasha) Morgan of Benton; stepdaughter, Jaime Griffin of Springdale, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Chase and Makayla Morgan and Peyton and Taylor Gilliland; two brothers, Robert (Sandy) Greer of Benton and Roger (Nina) Morgan of Pinnicle, North Carolina; and sister, Rita Kidd of Sikeston, Missouri.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Harry, Claude and Johnny Morgan; and a sister, Marie Crowden.
There will be no services.
