KELSO -- Funeral service for James H. Menz of Interlachen, Fla., was held Saturday at Masters Memorial Chapel in Palatka, Fla. The Rev. Bob Taylor officiated.

Menz, 86, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 1996, at Columbia North Florida Medical Center in Gainesville.

A native of Kelso, Menz moved to Interlachen 29 years ago from Deland, Fla. He was a retired auto mechanic.

Survivors include a daughter, Georgia Smith of Fruitland; two sons, Mike Menz of Jefferson City and Keith Menz of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Lucille Swan and Marge Littleton, both of Cape Girardeau, and Billie Bohannon of Sikeston; a brother, Silverius Menz of Scott City; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
