James Wayne McCaig Jr., 36, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born March 2, 1974, in Skokie, Ill. to James and Barbara Meatheany McCaig.
James was a cook at McDonald's restaurant.
Survivors include his father, James McCaig of Steger, Ill.; his mother, Barbara Meatheany of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Bobby McCaig of Indianapolis, Jonathan McCaig of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Betty (Mike) Crenshaw of Jackson, Margaret (Chris) Welch of Jefferson City, Mo., Pauline (Josh) King of Milton, W.Va., and Beverly Fox of Michigan.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to service time Wednesday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gary Brothers officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
