COBDEN, Ill. -- Funeral for James Leroy Hoyle of Cobden will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden. The Rev. Clifford Heil will officiate. Burial will be in Alto Pass Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Hoyle, 79, died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000, at Jonesboro Health Care Center in Jonesboro, Ill.
He was born Dec. 25, 1920, in Alto Pass, Ill., son of Elmer "Buck" and Myrtle Rendleman Hoyle.
Hoyle was retired from Cobden School District.
He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include a son, Larry Hoyle of Las Cruces, N.M.; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
