CHARLESTON -- James Herbert Moore, 54, of Charleston, died Monday, June 24, 1991, at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.

He was born Feb. 27, 1937, in Catron, son of James Herbert and Florence Reugger Moore Sr. He and Dorothy Bihr were married Dec. 26, 1981.

Moore was formerly of Sikeston, and had lived in Charleston 10 years. He was a member of First Christian Church in Sikeston, and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, James and Gary Moore of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Carrie Moore of Dallas, Erin Moore of Sarasota, Fla.; two sisters, Marcia Moore of Dallas, Suzann Lassiters of Dry Ridge, Ky., and a granddaughter.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church, with the Rev. Lee Brummell officiating. Burial will be in Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home here from 5-7 p.m. today, and from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
