ZALMA -- James Dale Moody, 18, of Zalma, died Thursday, July 14, 1994, at St. Jude's Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. He was born Oct. 16, 1975, at Dexter, son of Jimmy Dale and Carolyn Sue Pittman Moody. Moody was a 1994 graduate of Zalma High School, and had received many art awards...

ZALMA -- James Dale Moody, 18, of Zalma, died Thursday, July 14, 1994, at St. Jude's Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

He was born Oct. 16, 1975, at Dexter, son of Jimmy Dale and Carolyn Sue Pittman Moody.

Moody was a 1994 graduate of Zalma High School, and had received many art awards.

Survivors include his parents; two sisters, Susie Moody of Zalma, Loretta Overbey of Gipsy; maternal grandmother, Emma Pittman of Dexter; paternal grandfather, William Moody of Las Cruces, N.M.; paternal grandmother, Nettie Courter of Zalma, and paternal stepgrandfather, Ronald Courter of Advance.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 4-9 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Rudy Pittman and Otis Little officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park at Advance.
