James Fred "Jim" Curry, 60, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, at his home.
Jim was born July 27, 1961, in Cape Girardeau to Laurel "Stick" and Eunice Farmer Curry.
He attended Cape Girardeau Central High School, then worked on a river boat. He was a custodian for Jackson and Cape Girardeau schools and Southeast Missouri State University. He also worked for Walmart.
He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
Survivors include his stepson, Mike Uhrhan of Chaffee, Missouri, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and friends.
Jim's sister, Joy Curry; brother, John Curry; and his parents preceded him to heaven.
Memorial service will be announced at a later date. Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
