SCOTT CITY -- James Cleo Sturm, 56, of St. Louis, died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 1991, at his home.

He was born Feb. 29, 1935, in Leachville, Ark., son of Archie and Emma Lee Bolton Sturm.

Sturm was formerly of Scott City, and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was of the Baptist denomination.

Survivors include two daughters, Fredia Marks and Judy Sturm of St. Charles; three brothers, Herbert Sturm of Godfrey, Ill., Carl Sturm of O'Fallon, Ill., Paul Sturm of Coppers Cove, Texas; a sister, Eauilee Kelley of St. Louis; a half sister, Mary Schoen of Scott City, and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. The Rev. Brian Lowery will officiate, with burial in Lightner Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.
