EAST PRAIRIE -- James C. Bozeman, 80, of Walls, Miss., died Sunday, Jan. 12, 1997, at his home.
He was born Feb. 9, 1916, in St. Louis, son of Ed and May Jeter Bozeman. He and Greachann Larkins were married June 24, 1939.
Formerly of East Prairie, Bozeman had lived in Walls since 1964. He was a retired road and levee construction worker. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Walls.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, James Bozeman of Fairdealing, Billy Bozeman of Memphis, Tenn.; a daughter, Marilyn Ray of East Prairie; a sister, Thersa Seckt of Walls; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 6 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Lamar Ball officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.
