OLMSTED, Ill. -- James Edward "Mush" Barnes, 86, of Olmsted died at 9:10 a.m. Friday, March 25, 2016, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Marion, Illinois.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak, Illinois, and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Olmsted.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Olmsted, with the Revs. Paul Donner and Jim Rivett officiating.

Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery in Olmsted, with full military honors accorded by the Illinois National Guard Funeral Detail Team and area veterans.
