BERTRAND -- James A. Webb, 45, of Bertrand, died Friday, Nov. 1, of injuries received Friday in a semi-truck motor vehicle accident north of Cairo, Ill.
He was born March 12, 1946 to the late James H. Webb and Ruby Brown Webb, who survives.
He married Gwen Fears on June 13, 1953. She survives, along with one daughter, Rebecca Linderman of Bertrand; two brothers, Harry Webb of Wyatt, Richard Webb, stationed with the U.S. Army in Germany; one sister, Connie M. Day of Sikeston, one halfbrother, Lowell Finley of Sikeston, and two granddaughters.
Webb was employed by Delta Growers Association. He was a member of the First Baptist church of Bertrand.
Friends may call at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston until time of services today. Funeral services will be held at the McMikle Funeral Chapel in Charleston at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Lee Fansler officiating. Burial will be Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
