CHARLESTON -- Funeral service for James Aubrey Fowler, Charleston Route 3, will be held at 1 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel here. Richard Farquhar will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to service time.
Fowler, 87, died Sunday, Sept. 19, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born Feb. 6, 1906, in Mississippi County, son of William Jackson and Ella Sipp Fowler. He and Rosie Edna Priester were married Oct. 19, 1927.
Fowler was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife; a son, James Fowler of Wyatt; three daughters, Aslee Haynes and Helen Fowler of Sikeston, Lucy Fish of Clovis, N.M.; two brothers, Freeman Fowler of Charleston, Melvin Fowler of Vinita, Okla.; 13 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
