MORLEY -- Jackie Tanner, 43, of Morley died Thursday, Oct. 30, 1997, in an airplane crash near New Berlin, Ill.
He was born Feb. 15, 1954, in Gideon, son of Loran and Jessie Gilbert Tanner. He and Teresa Hopkins were married Sept. 3, 1971.
Tanner was employed by Charlie Ross and Son Construction Co. of Malden.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Eric Tanner of Morley; a daughter, Heather Abernathy of Morley; his parents of Dexter; three sisters, Pam Good of Florida, Lisa Chasteen and Christie Jackson of Dexter; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston after 5 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Arnold officiating. Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery at Morley.
