JACKIE SKILES

DEXTER -- Jackie Clinton Skiles, 27, of Dexter died Tuesday, March 8, 1999, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.

He was born Dec. 4, 1971, in St. Louis, son of George Michael and Linda Sue Trotter Skiles. He and Dorris Francine Roos were married Jan. 3, 1997, at Bloomfield.

Skiles worked at Hudson Foods until retiring because of ill health. He had lived in the St. Louis and Wappapello areas until moving to Dexter a few years ago. He attended First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Clinton and Joshua Skiles of Dexter; father and stepmother, George and Alice Skiles of Wappapello; a brother, George Skiles Jr. of McGee; three sisters, Linda Wallace and Georgia O'Mallay of St. Louis, and Amanda Skiles of Wappapello.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Fred Liest officiating.

Watkins and Sons Funeral Home at Dexter is in charge of arrangements.
