JACKIE SIMMONS

DEXTER -- Jacqueline "Jackie" Simmons, 30, of Rural Route, Dexter, died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 1998, at her parents' home in rural Parma.

She was born Aug. 26, 1967, at Poplar Bluff, the daughter of Jerry Ronald and Donna Sue Sandusky Barker.

She married Westley Simmons on June 15, 1996, at Parma.

She was a school teacher in the Bernie school system and attended the Word of Faith Christian Center in Bernie.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Bryce William Simmons of the home; her parents; a sister, Sherri LeAnn Barker of Cape Girardeau and her paternal grandmother, Irene Barker of rural Parma.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today at the Rainey Funeral Home in Bernie. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Dale Harle officiating. Burial will follow at the Bernie Cemetery.
