EAST PRAIRIE -- Jackie Lee Weddington Jr., 37, of East Prairie died Thursday, Nov. 16, 1995, from injuries sustained in a automobile accident near Anniston.

He was born Feb. 9, 1958, in Festus to Jackie Lee and Mildred White Weddington.

He married Debbie Bratton on Aug. 11, 1993. She survives.

Weddington was employed with Gates Rubber Company in Charleston and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Portageville.

Other survivors include a son, Jackie Lee Weddington III of Portageville; a stepson, Britton Childers of East Prairie; a daughter, Nikki Weddington of Portageville; a stepdaughter, Amy Myers of East Prairie; his mother of Festus; two sisters, Pam Owens of Festus and Polly Adams of Sikeston; and paternal grandfather Joe Weddington of Wappapelo.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. George White officiate, and burial will be in the Portageville Cemetery.
