SIKESTON -- Jack Robert Burton, 75, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, July 28, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born July 31, 1917, in Toledo, Ohio, son of Thomas and Helen G. Feller Burton. He and Lois E. Flatt were married July 15, 1973, at Benton.

Burton had served on the Sikeston parkboard. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, James Burton of Sikeston, Mike Burton of Canalou; two daughters, Janice Kahn of St. Petersburg, Fla., Kathy Graves of Sikeston; two stepsons, James Hopper of Matthews, Randy Hopper of Sikeston, William Hopper of Rockford, Ill.; three stepdaughters, Doris McCormick of Morley, Joyce Sisson of Sikeston, Barbara Hopper of Morehouse; a sister, Helen Kiper of Michigan; 24 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery at Morley, with military rites by American Legion Post 114 of Sikeston.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.
