LITTLETON, Colo. — Jack L. Hoffmeister, 82, of Littleton and formerly of Jackson, passed away Monday, Jan. 30, 2023, in Littleton.
He was born Feb. 20, 1939, the son of Dorothy Lacy DeLaney and Oscar and Betty Hoffmeister of Jackson.
Jack graduated from Rolla School of Mines with a degree in civil engineering.
In December 1965, he married Carol Pierce of Los Angeles, and she survives.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his mother, Betty Hoffmeister; two children, Mike (Julie) Hoffmeister and Tamara Slobojan, both of Colorado; four grandchildren, Abigail and Ashley Hoffmeister and Linzy and Mariah Slobojan; three sisters, Jeannie (Mike) Notestein, Linda (Kerry) Hoffman and Cheryln (Jeff) Landgraf; brother, Larry D. (Kay) Hoffmeister; and several nieces and nephews.
Jack was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Hoffmeister; mother, Dorothy Lacy DeLaney; and two sisters, Tammy Hoffmeister of Jackson and Ann (Jay) Hebert of Hudson, Florida.
Jack was loved by all and will be missed dearly. He was a mentor and an example for all.
Services are incomplete at Ellis Family Services in Littleton.
