SEDGEWICKVILLE, Mo. -- Jack Lee Ficker, 62, of Sedgewickville died Monday, July 7, 2003, at St. Mary's Hospital in East St. Louis, Ill.
He was born Dec. 25, 1940, in Granite City, Ill., son of Charles and Eileen Bennet Ficker. He and Joyce Lane were married Dec. 30, 1965.
Ficker was an industrial painter and a farmer. He formerly owned and operated JF Painting. He was a booster member of VFW.
Survivors include two sons, Kevin Ficker of Alton, Ill., Charles Ficker of Perryville, Mo.; two daughters, Lisa O'Dell of Edwardsville, Ill., Jackie Schultz of Herrin, Ill.; two sisters, Shirley Large of Sedgewickville, Janet Lambiris of Kingston, Tenn.; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father and a grandson.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 4 to 9 p.m. today, and Thursday after 6:30 a.m.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. James Brice officiating. Burial will be in Crossroads Methodist Cemetery in Bollinger County.
