CHAFFEE -- Jackie Ray "Jack" Craft, 55, died Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at his home.

He was born June 26, 1944, at Cape Girardeau, son of Raymond Walter and Goldia Chapman Craft. He and Marjorie Niswonger were married Sept. 12, 1987, at Cape Girardeau.

Craft had worked for Kelley Transportation in Cape Girardeau for 30 years, Billy ByBee Trucking for over four years and James Charles Trucking for three years as a truck driver before retiring in 1997. He also operated a sawmill and farmed for several years.

He was a member of Red Star Baptist Church and the American Legion Post in Chaffee.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Jimmy Ramos of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Tracy Dawn Hay of Chaffee, Misty Gail Boes of Kelso, and Casey Marie Faverty of Cape Girardeau; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home today from 4 to 8 p.m.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Cy Smith and Jim Matthews officiating. Burial will be in Niswonger Cemetery at Millersville.
