Jack D. Craft, 70, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at his home. He was born June 12, 1934, in Cape Girardeau, son of Seth R. and Mary A. Eaker Craft. He and Betty Macke were married Feb. 6, 1960, in Cape Girardeau. Craft was a salesman in the automotive industry and retired from Jim Wilson Co. Jack D. Craft, 70, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at his home.

He was born June 12, 1934, in Cape Girardeau, son of Seth R. and Mary A. Eaker Craft. He and Betty Macke were married Feb. 6, 1960, in Cape Girardeau.

Craft was a salesman in the automotive industry and retired from Jim Wilson Co. He was a member of VFW Post 3838, American Legion Post 63 and Eagles Aerie.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Brian Craft of Frisco, Texas, Wayne Craft of Biehle, Mo.; a daughter, Susan Burton of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Robert Craft of Jackson; two sisters, Dorothy Halter of Oran, Mo., Virginia Feverston of Cape Girardeau; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery at Pocahontas.
