CAIRO, Ill. -- Jack A. Hall, 80, of Cairo, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 1993, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Marion. He was born Oct. 20, 1913, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., son of Charles C. and Sara A. Brock Hall. Hall was retired from Piggly Wiggly and IGA in Cairo, and a member of First Southern Baptist Church. CAIRO, Ill. -- Jack A. Hall, 80, of Cairo, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 1993, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Marion.

He was born Oct. 20, 1913, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., son of Charles C. and Sara A. Brock Hall.

Hall was retired from Piggly Wiggly and IGA in Cairo, and a member of First Southern Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Barkett Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Bill Gholson will officiate, with burial in National Cemetery at Mound City.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
