MORLEY -- James Vester Phillips, 65, of Morley, died Tuesday, July 26, 1994, at his home.
He was born April 1, 1929, in Spadra, Ark., son of Lee A. and Sylvia Noe Phillips.
Phillips was former owner/operator of Morley Building Supply, and owner of Versatile Builders Inc.
He was a member of Morley VFW Post. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, attaining the rank of captain.
Survivors include three brothers, Harley Phillips of Algonquin, Ill., Verlon Phillips of Jonesboro, Ill., Vernon Phillips of Morley; two sisters, Azella Newell of Pekin, Ill., and Izola Luttrell of Cordova, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
There is no visitation or funeral service.
