DEXTER -- J. Leon Livingston, 76, of Swinton died Monday, Oct. 9, 1995, at the Dexter Memorial Hospital.

He was born Jan. 25, 1919, near Swinton, the son of James and Verda Dunivan Caldwell Livingston. He and Opal Walker were married Feb. 5, 1938, at Swinton. She survives of Swinton.

Livingston was employed by Elder Manufacturing Co. before retiring. He also was a World War II veteran.

Other survivors include a son, Donald LIvingston of Burfordville; a daughter, Darla Wilbur of Bell City; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and two half brothers.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance, where funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Arvil Croy will officiate, and burial will be in Rock Point Cemetery near Swinton.
