MARBLE HILL -- James Junior Garland, 60, of Marble Hill, died Thursday, Jan. 5, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Aug. 24, 1934, at Hurricane, son of James Joseph and Myrtle Lillie Cook Garland. He and Betty Sue Long were married Dec. 1, 1951.
Garland was an assembly line worker at ACF Industries in Jackson.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Glenda Yount; two sons, Michael and Stephen Garland; three sisters, Dorothy Cook, Gearldine Cook and Melba Cook, all of Marble Hill, and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill after 4 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Jessie Long and Steven Sander officiating. Burial will be in James Cemetery near here.
