PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- The funeral for Ivroy J. Pittman will be held at 11 a.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Home. The Rev. Joe Choka will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Fork Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:30 a.m. until time of service.
Pittman, 95, died Sunday, July 7, 2002, at Perry County Nursing Home.
He was born Nov. 4, 1906, in Perry County, son of James and Nona Canter Pittman. He and Mary E. Holmes were married July 21, 1930.
Pittman was a livestock and agriculture farmer.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Shirley, Jerome and Cecil Pittman, all of Perryville; three daughters, Hazel Witzke of Lexington, Ky., Darlene Jannin and Alvina "Vennie" Leuckel of Perryville; a sister, Ella French of Pico Rivera, Calif.; 30 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by two sons, a granddaughter, three brothers and two sisters.
