ANNA, Ill. -- Funeral for Iverne Peeler of Anna will be held at 10 a.m. today at Anna City Cemetery. The Rev. Sidney Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Anna City Cemetery.
Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements.
Peeler, 102, died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2000, at her home.
She was born Sept. 20, 1898, in Union County, daughter of Charles F. and Susan Roberts. She and Sam Peeler were married Oct. 20, 1924, in Belleville, Ill. He died April 22, 1950.
A lifelong resident of Union County, Peeler had worked at Anna National Bank and was a former member of Townsend F. Dodd Ladies Auxiliary Post 344.
Survivors include nieces, Eva Goddard of Anna and Eileen Wilson of Carbondale, Ill.
