PUXICO -- Ivan H. Perkins, 80, of Puxico died Sunday, Oct. 6, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born June 7, 1916, at Wappapello, son of Earl and Mary Grimm Perkins. He and Pauline Buddenbaum were married Dec. 21, 1946. She died March 23, 1981.
Perkins lived in Granite City, Ill., 30 years, moving to Puxico several months ago. He was a member of Puxico VFW Post 7822.
Survivors include a son, Kevin Perkins of Granite City; five brothers, Irvin Perkins of Poplar Bluff, Leonard Perkins of Bridgeton, Loran Perkins of Gooding, Idaho, Tommy and Robert Perkins of Wappapello; three sisters, Leta Knodell of Wappapello, Rita Wyatt of Doniphan, Mary Gibbs of St. Louis; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico after 6 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Hill officiating. Burial will be in Richmond Chapel Cemetery at Shook.
