Memorial service for Ivan L. Boren, 1513 Jessica, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mark Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Neal Zeilinger officiating.
There is no visitation.
Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Boren, 70, died Tuesday, May 2, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born May 28, 1924, in Cape Girardeau, son of Edwin H. and Edna R. Suedekum Boren. He and Margie Hutton were married Nov. 10, 1950, in Cape Girardeau.
Boren worked at the Cape Girardeau Post Office 36 years. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and Elks Lodge. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Cynthia Boren of New York City; a brother, Gerald Boren of Cape Girardeau, and a sister, Patsy Boren of Aurora, Ill.
