Iva Bollinger
GLENALLEN, Mo. -- Iva L. Bollinger, 60, of Glenallen died Thursday, July 17, 2008, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 11, 1947, at Bessville, Mo., daughter of Charley L. and Ethel M. Tooman Skaggs. She and the Rev. Walter Shipley were married Nov. 14, 1964. He died Nov. 8, 1990. She later married Ed Bollinger.
Bollinger had been a cook at Eldercare in Marble Hill, Mo., and attended McGee Chapel Church.
Survivors include her husband; five sons, Russell, David and Steven Shipley, all of Glenallen, Terry Bollinger of St. Louis, Matt and Adam Bollinger of Sedgewickville, Mo.; two daughters, Sherry Sullivan of Glenallen, Anita Hamilton of St. Charles, Mo.; three brothers, Wilburn Skaggs of Marble Hill, Joseph "Bud" Skaggs of Scopus, Mo., Rick Skaggs of Glenallen; two sisters, Donna DeClue and Wilma Skaggs of Glenallen; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Lloyd Ray Green and Wain Kirkpatrick officiating. Burial will be in McGee Chapel Cemetery near Glenallen.
