Iva B. Borchelt, 83, of Cape Girardeau, died Monday, Oct. 5, 1992, at the Lutheran Home. She was born May 2, 1909, near Lutesville, daughter of William E. and Sarah Null Johnson. Iva B. Borchelt, 83, of Cape Girardeau, died Monday, Oct. 5, 1992, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born May 2, 1909, near Lutesville, daughter of William E. and Sarah Null Johnson. She and Hugo Borchelt were married Dec. 14, 1935, at Egypt Mills.

Borchelt was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church at Egypt Mills, and its Ladies Aid.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Marilyn Williamson, Cape Girardeau Route 1, Judith Kendall of Gainesville, Fla.; a sister, Gertrude Evans of Jackson, and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five brothers.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
