ORAN -- Irmina Hamm, 96, of Oran died Monday, May 15, 2000, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girdeau.
She was born Jan. 5, 1904, at New Hamburg, daughter of Nicholas and Mary Stike Dannenmueller. She and Leo Hamm were married Aug. 12, 1924, at New Hamburg. He died Sept. 4, 1985.
Hamm was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church and St. Ann Sodality.
Survivors include a son, Melvin Hamm of Benton; three daughters, Luella Kielhofner of Oran, Doris Pekarek of Cape Girardeau, Carol Welter of Cape Girardeau; 19 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and two great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, three brothers, and four sisters.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran after 4 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7:30, and Knights of Columbus prayers at 7:45.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Guardian Angel Church, with the Rev. Lewis Hejna officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
