PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Irma T. Buchheit, 89, of Perryville died Thursday, April 30, 2009, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born March 13, 1920, in Perry County, the daughter of the late August and Mary Unterreiner Bohnert. She married Herman Ernst on Nov. 22, 1941. He preceded her in death Jan. 4, 1961. PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Irma T. Buchheit, 89, of Perryville died Thursday, April 30, 2009, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born March 13, 1920, in Perry County, the daughter of the late August and Mary Unterreiner Bohnert.

She married Herman Ernst on Nov. 22, 1941. He preceded her in death Jan. 4, 1961. She then married Rudy Buchheit on Dec. 29, 1978. He survives in Biehle.

Mrs. Buchheit was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle and St. Ann Sodality in Biehle.

Other survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Margie (Ed) Welker of Perryville; two sisters, Bertha Wibbenmeyer and Cornelia Ernst both of Perryville; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband; and three brothers, Walter, Rudy and August Bohnert.

Memorials are preferred to St. Maurus Cemetery Fund.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday, with a Catholic wake at 7 p.m. and 6:30 to 9:40 a.m. Monday, with a 9 a.m. rosary, at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Maurus Catholic Church, with Monsignor Norbert Ernst and Monsignor Richard Buchheit co-celebrating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
