GREENBRIER, Mo. -- Irma Ashcraft Richards, 92, of Greenbrier died Monday, Sept. 20, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Irma was born March 20, 1912, at Brownwood, Mo., daughter of Noah and Kitty Bratton Ashcraft. She and Otto Richards were married Nov. 25, 1939, at Brownwood. He preceded her in death Dec. 22, 1983.
She was a 1930 graduate of Advance High School. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Advance, Mo., and a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, David Richards of Advance, Doug Richards of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Kathy Granger of Jackson; four grandchildren, Crystal Richards of Advance, Ryan and Shannon Granger of Columbia, Mo., and Mary Beth Granger of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by two infant sons, Baby Boy Richards Aug. 27, 1949, John Michael Richards May 13, 1952; a sister, Katherine Ashcraft Whittaker; and a brother, Norman Ashcraft.
There is no visitation.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Balch Cemetery in Greenbrier. The Revs. Watis Horrell and Kenneth Harper will officiate.
Morgan Funeral Home in Advance is in charge of arrangements.
