MOREHOUSE -- Irene M. Moore, 81, of Morehouse died Monday, March 1, 1999, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born June 1, 1917, at Como, daughter of James and Mary Little Breeden. She first married Clyde Reynolds, who died in 1942. She later married Raymond Curd, who died in 1954. She and Jesse Moore were married in 1966. He died in 1995.
Moore was a machine operator 44 years at Elder Manufacturing Co. in Dexter. She was a member of First General Baptist Church and Order of Eastern Star Chapter 450, both in Morehouse.
Survivors include a son, Jim Curd of Greentown, Ind.; a daughter, Clydie Garner of Sikeston; a stepson, J.C. Moore of Topeka, Kan.; two stepdaughters, Louise Tarrance of Van Buren, Rosalyn Coffee of St. Louis; two brothers, Frank Breeden of Morehouse, J.W. Breeden of Kokomo, Ind.; a sister, Nancy Swinger of Morehouse; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Randy Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery at Essex.
