CAIRO, Ill. -- Irene Hall, 74, of Cairo, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2004, at the Daystar Care Center in Cairo.

She was born April 25, 1930, in St. Louis, daughter of John and Ida Johnson. She lived in Cairo for more than 30 years.

She was a member of Christ Temple Church of God in Christ in Cairo.

Survivors include Henrietta and George Porter of Cairo, who were her legal guardians.

Friends may call at 1 p.m. Friday until the funeral at 2 p.m. at the Christ Temple Church of God in Christ in Cairo with Terry Holder officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery at Charleston.

Williams Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
