Irene Ervin Adams Berry, 86, of Denver died Friday, Jan. 19, 1996, at El Paso, Texas, while staying with her son. She was born Jan. 23, 1909, daughter of Hezakiah and Lydia Martha Ulrich Ervin. She was married to George Ulen "Pete" Adams. He died in 1963. She later married R.C. Berry, and he died in 1994...

Irene Ervin Adams Berry, 86, of Denver died Friday, Jan. 19, 1996, at El Paso, Texas, while staying with her son.

She was born Jan. 23, 1909, daughter of Hezakiah and Lydia Martha Ulrich Ervin.

She was married to George Ulen "Pete" Adams. He died in 1963. She later married R.C. Berry, and he died in 1994.

She lived and worked in the Cape Girardeau area for 50 years, then moved to Denver.

She is survived by three sons, Jim Adams of El Paso, Bill Adams of Jackson and David Adams of Wickenburg, Ariz.; a daughter, Bonnie Poe of Aurora, Colo.; a sister, Mary Proffer of Jackson; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral service and burial will be in Denver.
