Irene Collins, 82, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, March 5, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born July 19, 1916, at Egypt Mills, daughter of Samuel E. and Mary Elizabeth Wolters Collins.
She was a graduate of University High School in 1935 and a member of Grace United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and Kage F.C.E.
She also worked at the family business, Collins Dairy.
She is survived by a brother, Walter Collins of Cape Girardeau, and a sister, Opal Collins also of Cape Girardeau.
Three brothers preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Chapel.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Dr. Larry Gallamore officiating. Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery.
