CHAFFEE -- Iola Witt, 84, of Chaffee died Saturday, May 13, 1995, at her home.
She was born Feb. 9, 1911, the daughter of Michael and Gertrude Blacker Witt in Chaffee.
Will retired from teaching in 1976 after 47 years at Chaffee Elementary School. She received a B.S. degree from Southeast Missouri State University. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Rockview, Missouri State Teachers Association and Retired Teachers Association.
Survivors include a sister, Velda Mae Witt and a nephew, Paul Pfefferkorn, both of Chaffee.
Three sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Nancy Woods will officiate.
