ANNA, Ill. -- Inez Smith, 89, of Anna, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 1994, at Union County Hospital.
She was born Feb. 28, 1904, in Union County, daughter of Homer and Sarah Harlan Johnson. She married Hollie Smith, who died March 23, 1961.
Smith was a member of First Baptist Church in Anna.

Surviving are nieces and nephews, including Dorothy Hubbs and Reba Mull of Anna, Helen Perrsons of Carterville, and Howard Rice of Marion.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Crain Funeral Chapel in Anna. The Rev. Larry Shacklee will officiate, with burial in Ebenezer Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Friday.
