SIKESTON -- Inez Binford, 83, of Sikeston died Friday, Feb. 21, 1997, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. She was born April 18, 1913, in Savannah, Tenn., daughter of John T. and Nora Mills Williams. She and Samuel C. Binford were married Sept. 28, 1934, in East Prairie. He died Dec. 14, 1980...

SIKESTON -- Inez Binford, 83, of Sikeston died Friday, Feb. 21, 1997, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born April 18, 1913, in Savannah, Tenn., daughter of John T. and Nora Mills Williams. She and Samuel C. Binford were married Sept. 28, 1934, in East Prairie. He died Dec. 14, 1980.

Binford was a member of Tanner Street Church of God, and was a foster grandmother at Southeast Elementary School six years.

Survivors include a daughter, Gayle Taylor of Nashville, Tenn.; and a granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by a son, five brothers, a sister, and a granddaughter.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Revs. Carl Addison and Fred Leist officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
