INEZ BALSMAN

PERRYVILLE -- Inez M. Balsman, 90, of Perryville died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 1998, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Feb. 18, 1907, in Perryville, daughter of Henry and Anna Dunker Hunt. She and Alvin F. Balsman were married April 13, 1936. He died Dec. 29, 1981.

Balsman was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church, Western Catholic Union, Ladies of Charity, and was a charter member of DeAndreis Circle 365 of Daughters of Isabella.

Survivors include a son, Wayne Balsman of Island Lake, Ill.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 3-7:15 p.m. Friday. The rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday t St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
