Inatha G. Mansker, 85, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, May 10, 2010, at Advance Nursing Center in Advance, Mo.
She was born May 17, 1924, at Sank, Mo., daughter of Ora Oswell and Alta Ines Ladd Bitterman. She and Cecil Rosswell Mansker were married Sept. 12, 1946, in Piggott, Ark. He preceded her in death Sept. 4, 2007.
Inatha was a member of Ladd Chapel Church.
Survivors include two sons, Ronnie (Mary) Mansker and Allen Mansker of Cape Girardeau; a daughter-in-law, Mary Mansker of Jackson; a brother, Paul Bitterman of Advance; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two very special and loving friends whom she loved dearly, Shirley Carlton of Advance, who was like a sister to her, and Carol Coomer, who devoted so much special care and love and whose family was so special to share her.
A son, Harold Mansker, and a grandson, David Mansker, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, Mo.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ethel Myers officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
