Ina Lucille Moore, 72, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Oct. 26, 2009, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Nov. 8, 1936, in Oak Ridge, to Charles Ardell and Ina Beatrice Bollinger Warren. She and Frank O. Moore were married March 3, 1957, in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death Sept. 15, 1985.
Mrs. Moore lived in Cape Girardeau her entire life. She graduated from College High School, and was in the first class to graduate from the Vocational-Technical School in 1975 as a licensed practical nurse. She worked at Saint Francis Hospital for some years, then worked at numerous nursing homes in the area. She was an avid camper and loved to read. She was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a brother, Douglas Warren of California; a sister, Myrna Ball of Yuba City, Calif.; a brother-in-law, Robert Browning of Livingston, Texas; and Warren Moore of Cape Girardeau, whom she looked upon as a son.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons and a sister.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Paul Short officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be given to Epilepsy Foundation or ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease).
