Funeral service for Imogene D. Moore, 250 Barberry, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Donnie Ford will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the chapel from 3-8 p.m. today.
Moore, 83, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 9, 1915, in Allenville, daughter of Louis A. and Elizabeth Pool Hector. She and Charles A. Moore were married May 5, 1931, at Bloomfield.
Moore had worked at J.O. Burns Grocery Store and Lincecum Store at Delta, and then worked many years and retired from the IGA store in Chaffee. The Moores lived on a farm in the Delta area, moving to Cape Girardeau in 1988.
She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, and former member of First Baptist Church in Delta.
Survivors include her husband; a son, John Moore of Delta; a sister, Louise Crawford of Cape Girardeau; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
