DEXTER, Mo. -- Imogene Lape, 92, of Dexter departed this life Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 7, 1923, in Essex, Missouri, daughter of Cyrus and Sylvia Blevins. She and Curtis R. Lape were married March 2, 1946, in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death Feb. 20, 2010.
Survivors include a son, Tony R. Lape of Jackson; two daughters, June C. Aycock (Bill) of Dexter and Connie L. Lape of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Fay Geno of Malden, Missouri; five grandchildren, Wes Aycock, Neil Aycock, Whitney Brothers, Merdith Peirick and Ian Lape; and six great-grandchildren, Eli Aycock, Landon Aycock, Balin Brothers, Rylan Brothers, Baron Peirick and Truett Peirick.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, four sisters and a daughter-in-law, Danna Lape.
A private service will be Saturday at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter. Interment will be in Dexter Cemetery.
