Funeral service for Imogene M. Hartzell of Smith Creek, Mich., was held Tuesday at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home in Port Huron, Mich. Chaplain Mary Ann Stackpoole officiated, with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens at Fort Gratiot, Mich.

Hartzell, 74, died Saturday, Sept. 27, 1997, at Port Huron Hospital.

She was born Nov. 12, 1922, at Hickory Ridge, daughter of Melvin and Chlora Revelle. She and Charles "Jack" Hartzell were married July 12, 1968.

Survivors include her husband; three stepsons, Ronald Hartzell of Warsaw, Gary Hartzell of LaMesa, Calif., Jim Hartzell of Port Huron; three sisters, Leona Trimble of Hope, Idaho, Katy Proctor of Cape Girardeau, Audrey Kitchen of Fruitland; two brothers, James Revelle of Patton, Carroll Revelle of Poplar Bluff; seven stepgrandchildren; and three great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
