Black, 68, died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 1999, at Parkview Nursing Home in Paducah, Ky.

She was born April 5, 1931, at Fancy Farm, Ky., daughter of Lawrence Marshall and Alice Virvle Hayden Manker. She and Joe Darrell Black were married May 29, 1948.

Formerly of Mississippi County, she was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church. She was a nurse aide at St. Mary's Hospital in Cairo, cowell obit
