Ilena C. Hartle, 87, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013, at the home of a daughter.
She was born Sept. 6, 1926, in Daisy, daughter of Ellis and Hannah Barks Seabaugh. She and Jesse "Jay" Hartle were married Sept. 27, 1944. He passed away Sept. 16, 1996.
Ilena worked at the former Jackson Hosiery Mill and the former International Shoe Factory in Jackson. She was a member of Millersville United Methodist Church.
Loving survivors include a daughter, Kathy (Dwight) Mock of Marble Hill, Mo.; a sister, Verla (Howard) LaChance of Warsaw, Mo.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Cletus Seabaugh; two sisters, Trula Mayfield and an infant sister.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Michael Davis officiating. Interment will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to Millersville UMC.
