ANNA, Ill. -- Ida V. Farmer, 69, of Anna died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born Jan. 18, 1930, at Luxembourg, Belgium, the daughter of Phillip and Melvina DeLillie Couwels. She married Morris D. Farmer on Jan. 21, 1948, in Chicago. He survives.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Cobden.
She also is survived by a son, Ronald Lee Farmer of Greenlawn, N.Y., and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Cobden, with the Rev. Federico Higuera officiating.
